The Art Of ‘Letting Go’

Introduction

‘MOVE ON’ – the term more easily said, but way too hard to accept. Looking at the brighter side, every ending is associated with a new beginning, so one needs to end up somewhere to witness fresh dawn in life. You cannot hold on to a person just because you are scared of what your future will be like without them. We understand it’s not easy to break all the ties from someone so close to your heart or forget all the memories you cherished together and begin a new life. However, that doesn’t imply you must hold on, no matter how toxic your relationship has become, and how worthless and self-questioning you become by every single passing day.  It is important to let go. Learning to let go will be the first and foremost step towards self-care. It is acknowledging the harm and damage that person has caused you and you will be making an active choice of not letting them affect you anymore.

You’re Not Alone

It’s not just you who is suffering from such a situation. There are so many people out there who have already gone through the bitter experience of a broken heart. Nothing stays forever. Everything that falls on the face of the earth has to meet its respective ends in one way or the other. You have to understand that breaking down over someone who was never yours is not worth it.

Acceptance Matters

Sometimes you have to accept the fact that certain things will never go back to how they used to be. You have to work on yourself to mend your heart to face the world again and go back where you truly belong. Just live for yourself and understand that whatever happens, happens for good.

Strings Attached

In our childhood, we all have heard our grandma’s fairytales and had dreamt of that perfect story. But let’s be wise; these stories are limited to our childhood memories only. We should not link them to our reality. Also, there are a lot of strings attached to any relationship. Many of your friends and loved ones out there would be equally broken seeing your state. So, you are not only hurting yourself but also those who love you. You can also refer to various relationship books that offer various therapeutic ways to heal and get over someone which actually give results fruitfully. You can look for such great books from eBay alternatives.

You’ll find someone better

The biggest mistake you tend to make is that you start believing you won’t find someone else ever again. But what you fail to understand is that there’s always something better planned ahead of you. It’s all about destiny. If something was taken away from you, it was because something way more beautiful is on your way.

No looking back

Life is a one-sided road where you could neither go back to your past nor you could rewind it. So, the only option left for you is to keep going. Start doing the things that make you feel happy and distract you from your memories. Spend valuable time with people who love you and care about you.

Also, don’t forget to love yourself!
