We all tend to use heat in our hair every now and then. It makes it quite crucial for us to have a hair care routine that we religiously follow. In this blog, I’ll be sharing my favorite hair care products and styling tools that I really like using. And I believe these are some very basic must-have hair care products that you should include in your daily hair care routine to maintain good hair. I will also be sharing some hair care tips throughout the blog, so make sure you read through the very end. Let’s get started!
- Hair Oil
Every person should swear by hair oil. You can go for coconut oil or onion oil. Hair oil massage stimulates blood circulation which in turn boosts hair growth and also helps you relax, which makes it a must-have in your hair care routine. You should heat up your oil a little bit to help with better penetration, or you can use a hot towel around your head once you’re done with the oiling process.

- Microfibre Towel
Since I just mentioned the hot towel treatment, keeping a microfibre towel for your head is extremely important. The regular towels are pretty harsh on your hair so you need to keep a microfibre one. I have heard of people using t-shirts to dry out their head and use it instead of a towel and that works fine too. There are tons of brands available that provide good quality micro fire towels. Do get one for yourself.

- Shampoo & Conditioner
These are literally the most basic hair care products that everyone uses. However, people still struggle to find the right product for themselves. I do want to point out here that you cannot use just shampoo. You have to follow that up with a conditioner or a mask otherwise your hair will 100% remain dry and feel very undernourished. To pick out the right kind of shampoo for yourself, you need to know what kind of hair do you have. You can refer to the hair chart given below. Keep all the factors in mind and pick out the right product for yourself. Also, try to pick the shampoo and conditioner of the same range for better results.
- Hair Masks
Those who couldn’t use hair oils should indulge themselves in hair masks. Masks intensively moisturize your hair and unlike oil, it penetrates deeper to your hair tips and your shafts as well. It is really good for your damaged hair. It helps nourish it and heal it. You can look for good-quality hair masks with all-natural extracts on this eBay alternative. Do check it out!

- Hair Serum
Now let’s move on to post-wash hair care and talk about the hair serum. The reason that I suggest keeping one in your hair care routine is that it is multi-purpose. One, you can use it as a heat protectant before applying heat to your hair. Two, you can use it to set your baby hair or your fly-away hair. Three, you can also use it as a post-styling serum. So, it is basically like a 3 or 4-in-1 hair product that you should have in your hair care kit.

- Heat Protectant
If you use heat to style your hair, I recommend using a heat protectant as well. You can use a serum as a heat protectant as I mentioned in a previous point. The reason that you need it is that when you apply heat, it strips off the natural moisture of your hair and it also breaks down the keratin on your hair which is basically what provides your hair with strength and elasticity. So, it is extremely important to use a heat protectant.

These products are those which should be in your hair care kit. If not all of them, at least keep 3 to 4 or what I suggested. It is absolutely necessary to maintain a good hair care routine.
